The American Legion invites all the members and their guests to come out and enjoy the activities at the post. The post hours are 11:00am-8:00pm, Monday thru Saturday. Hours can be extended depending on activities and patronage.
We have several activities throughout the week and encourage our members, guests and community to come on out and enjoy! The first and third Tuesdays of the month is Taco Tuesday from 11:00am-4:00pm or while supplies last, and listen to music. If you like to dance, there is plenty of space to do so. Tuesdays are also Karaoke with Bernadette Brock from 4-7/8:00pm. Bring a snack and come on out and sing some of your favorite tunes!
Wednesday is Pitch day starting at 1:00pm and on Fridays at 1:00pm. Wednesday night is Cornhole night starting at 6:00pm. Come on out and sharpen your skills while having fun!
Shooting sports is available on Thursdays at 1:00pm. Thursday night is shuffleboard night at 6:30pm.
Friday night is Hillbilly Bingo at 6:00pm. Come on out and try your luck! Kitchen will be open on Friday with some type of food being served.
*Due to other activities, there will be no Hillbilly Bingo on 11/4/22.
Saturday is open pool.

The Legion is open on the KC Chiefs game days! Come help us cheer them on to victory! Bring a snack! GO CHIEFS!
Thanks to everyone who came out to our fish fry benefiting the Warsaw and Lincoln elementary schools. This has been a tradition for many years and without everyone’s participation, we would not be able to do it!

This Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5 is Shooting Sports Gun Show! Hours on Friday are 12-6 :00pm and Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Cost is $5 and concessions will be available.
The Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank everyone for their contributions for our troops overseas! Also, we would like to thank everyone who came out to the Halloween dinner/dance!
On Friday, November 11, at 11:00am, there will be a Veterans Wreathing of the Waters ceremony at Drake Harbor. Following that, all Veterans are invited back to the American Legion Post 217 for a soup lunch and dessert!
Please keep in mind that the American Legion takes all necessary precautions to give our members and guests a save environment. Please do not come out if you are not feeling well!

The American Legion Post 217 members and the Ladies Auxiliary meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00pm. The Sons of the American Legion meet on the 4th Monday of the month. The Riders meet the 3rd Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Come on out and see what's happening and how you can help!

A reminder that we have a smoke free hall that can be rented out for all your special events! Smoking is allowed in the Lounge or outside. You can call the Legion at (660) 438-6928 if interested.
