Alisha Ann Friar-Holt, age 46, of Cole Camp passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023.  She was born on April 3, 1977, in Clinton, Missouri, the daughter of Gary and Sherry Friar.  Alisha was in the Warsaw High School graduating class of 1995, after graduation she went to State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri and graduated with her Associates degree in 1998.
Alisha was full of life and loved her family unconditionally.  She met the love of her life, Jason Clancy in September of 2011, their connection was a blessing to not only Alisha but her children as well. When asked about their relationship Jason said “I knew I loved her the moment I met her, we had a bond that couldn’t be broken no matter how big the argument, fight we always found our way back to each other. We had a special I love you hand squeeze; we would squeeze each other’s hand three times.  She made me a better man.  She knew how to encourage me to do things I never thought I could do.”
Alisha found joy in the smallest things.  She couldn’t wait for the spring so she could get her hands dirty planting her garden. During her daily phone calls to her mother, she recently was bragging about the strawberries she was already picking.  She could make anything with her hands, she enjoyed crafts of all types, she made quilts and was always baking for her family.  The running joke was the jello cakes she made for everyone’s birthdays.  She was a free spirit who loved deeply.  Her dogs Aise and Blaise were her kids with fur.  Alisha’s children’s actives were her most beloved hobbies, from softball games, band concerts, choir concerts, archery competitions and wrestling meets, she enjoyed them all equally. She cherished picnics, watching Outer Banks and listening to her son play the guitar. She literally had her head in the stars, she was always outside on clear nights looking up at the stars and constellations.  One of her favorite gifts was a telescope Jason bought her.  She and Jason loved to travel.  On their daily trips to Sedalia, they would enjoy Scooters smoothies and she wouldn’t just order one, she would order two, and both were gone in no time.  She will be missed by not only her family, but by anyone who got the opportunity to love her.
She is preceded in death by her father Gary Friar, one brother Jared Friar, paternal grandparents; Quetin and Mary Friar, maternal grandparents; Wyatt and Anna East, and an uncle, Mickey East.
Alisha is survived by the love of her life Jason Clancy Sr. of the home, four children; Rakaylah Ann Holt, DaVeigha Ann Holt, Eastynn Wyatt Holt, Jason Allen Clancy Jr. all of Cole Camp, Missouri, her mother Sherry Friar, of Warsaw, Missouri, two cousins; Megan Skaggs of Washington, Mackenzie Richey of Windsor, numerous relatives and many friends.
