Edmund G. “Buddy” Boillot, 100, of Marshall, MO, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church with a Rosary Recitation beginning at 10:45 a.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Community Food Pantry in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born September 28, 1922, in Linn, MO, he was the son of the late Edmund H. Boillot and Mary Buchot Boillot. Buddy lived in Marshall most of his life where he was a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church. On August 20, 1966, he married Doris Baker Ross who preceded him in death on August 14, 2014. Buddy’s career was spent with the United States Corps of Engineers, working for them 33 years and then retiring in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Hobbs of Plano, TX and Jackie Barb (Bill) of Edwards, MO; seven grandchildren: Kelley, Nathan (Jodi), Lesley (Eric), Cassie, Kimberley, Myron (Renae) and Sarah (Dan); 17 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In addition to his parents and wife, Buddy was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ross Gaddy; a son-in-law, Randall Hobbs; and three sisters: Loraine Dennis, Evelyn Harvey and Helen Dennis.
