Gary Lee McGill, 73, passed away at his home with his wife by his side early Wednesday morning October 11, 2023.
 
Gary was born on August 30, 1950, at the family home in Lexington, Missouri. To Virgil and Susie (Henry) McGill. Gary graduated from high school and earned his bachelor’s degree from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Chapter 124 until retirement in 2008.
 
Gary married Terri Watson on November 15, 1996, in Miami, Oklahoma. He loved fishing for crappies on Truman Lake. He would go to Maun Tauk and Branson to trout fish and went to Mississippi to fish for crappie. Gary learned at a very young age how to clean fish, and he had his own way of cleaning all the different types of fish that he caught. He would spend countless hours researching the different things that he was going to buy before purchasing them. Anything from mattresses to fish finders, boats, or anything else that he was interested in buying.
 
Gary is survived by his wife, Terri McGill; daughters Pamela Taibi, and Camie (Lon) Walsh, son Gary (Buddy) Lee McGill Jr.; 3 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Roe, Judy Ford, Patricia (James) Dunkle, and brother, Michael (Mary) McGill; as well as several other family and friends.
 
He was preceded by his parents, Virgil and Susie McGill.
 
Visitation Services were held October 14, 2023, at 1:00 PM, Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd Street, Clinton, Missouri 64735.
