Gerald L. Ramalia, age 81, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born on May 26, 1942 in Montrose, Missouri the son of Lloyd Ramalia and Lela (Cowan) Ramalia.
Jerry grew up in Brunswick, Nebraska. He attended Norfolk Junior College and later graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Advanced Accounting Principles in 1971. In 1973 he became a Certified Public Accountant.
From 1964 until 1966 he served in the United States Army. He made his home in Omaha, later moving to Lenox, Iowa and St. Joseph, Missouri before moving to Warsaw, Missouri in 1987. He owned and operated the Coast To Coast store until his retirement in 2007.
Jerry was united in marriage to Shirley Stroud on April 25, 1993. They made their home in Warsaw until moving to Jefferson City in 2023.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Ramalia, of the home, two stepchildren; Stacey Clubine, of Jefferson City, Missouri and Rick Clubine, of Fulton, Missouri, a sister, Sharon Warneke, and her husband Ron, of Tilden, Nebraska, two nieces; Tammi Warneke and Rhonda Wright, both of Tilden, Nebraska, a nephew, Nick Warneke, of Altoona, Iowa.
Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, Missouri. Memorial Services will be held by the family at the Bible Baptist Church in Jefferson City at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
