Larry Neil Shinn, age 81, of Warsaw, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Good Shepard Care Center in Versailles, Missouri. He was born on January 18, 1942 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Alfred Shinn and Goldie (Beaman) Shinn.
Larry made his home in Benton County all his life. Larry served in the United States Army from, November 18, 1959 until his honorable discharge on February 5, 1962.
Larry worked as a truck driver distributing fuel for many years and cattle farmed. Beginning in 1985 Larry was a member of the Horse Racing Commission in Oklahoma as a race horse owner. Larry enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, a nephew and three nieces.
Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw.
