Patricia B. Schepker

Patricia  Baker Schepker, age 83, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away in her home on April 8, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 26, 1939, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was the oldest daughter of Richard and Dorothy Barker. She was a loving sister to three siblings,Tom Barker, Richard (Dicky Barker), and Margaret (Peggy) Tucker. Patricia was raised in Jefferson City where she graduated from J.C. High School in 1957. After graduation, Edward and Patricia Schepker were united in marriage on August 17, 1957, and to this union three children were born, Julie (Brown), Scott Schepker and Dana (Breshears). She worked as a secretary for the Secretary of State. Patricia worked as a medical transcriber at Golden Valley Hospital where she retired after 20 years of service.
Ed and Patricia moved and made their home in Warsaw, Mo in 1972. They stayed until their children graduated high school. Afterwards Particia moved around the country following her husband while he worked. She was a devoted wife, who was adventurous and loved traveling with her husband. She took great pleasure in baking, and was known for her holiday cookie trays. She was an avid gardener, and loved planting.
Patricia is preceded in death by parents, son Scott, daughter Dana, sister Peggy, brother Dicky, niece Dee, son in law Jeff Brown, sister in law Randa Barker, niece Beth Barker, sister in law Rhoda Schepker, brother in law Gene Scheker, and great grandson Joshua Scheer Jr.
She is survived by husband Ed, and daughter Julie of home. One daughter in law, Gayla Schepker of Warsaw. Four grandchildren Jackie Whitaker (Brent) of Warsaw, Megan Schepker (Josh) of Warsaw,  Nick Breshears (Kerri) of Nixa, and Slade Schepker of Warrensburg. Nine great grandchildren. Jayden Schepker, Kya Schepker, Aspen Whitaker, Gage Whitaker, Nevaeh Scheer, Corbin Breshears, Waytt Scheer, Kennadi Breshears, and Oakleigh Breshears. Numerous other family members.
Memorial services for Patricia J. Schepker will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
Burial of her cremains will be held by the family at a later date at the New Home Cemetery in Warsaw.
