Tracie Schwintek, 53, of Warsaw passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at University Hospital, Columbia surrounded by her family.
She was born January 30, 1970 in Waynesville to the late Jerome Schwintek and Glenda (Jeffries) Schwintek of Warsaw.  Tracie had physical challenges all her life.  As a child she worked hard to overcome those challenges winning medals and ribbons through her participation in Special Olympics.  Tracie was a 1989 graduate of California High School. 
Tracie was a feisty, independent woman with an outgoing personality finding it easy in making complete strangers into friends.  Some of her interests included  bowling, fishing, watching her game shows and listening to country music, especially Randy Travis.  If she wasn’t coloring amazing pictures with her gel pens or catching up with friends on Facebook, you may find her sipping her morning cappuccino, having breakfast or watching evening TV with Mom and Maddy.
Survivors include her mother, Glenda of Warsaw, two sisters, Michelle (Matt) Wilfong of Tipton, Jennifer (Jason) Meisel of Jefferson City, nine nieces and nephews, Courtney (Ethan) Kunze, Brandon Williams, Austin (Whitley) Langkop, Madison Meisel, Morgan Rackers, Alyssa Maurer, Logan Meisel, Drake and Darcy Wilfong, great nephew, Wade Langkop, great niece, Braelynn Mason and her very special friend, Roger Eslinger of Warsaw.
Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Trimble Funeral Homes, 3210 North Ten Mile Dr., Jefferson City.  A Life Celebration Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Warren Brandt officiating.
